Basik
Development’s architectural review committee has approved
the first home for Hemingway Place in Naples.
Heading the architectural review committee is W.A (Bud) Lawrence.
Lawrence is a member of Institute of Classical Architecture. He has
received regional and national awards, including from the American
Institute of Building Design (Best of Show), and the National Association
of Home Builders (Best American Living).
With 4,000 square feet under air, the Queen Anne is
designed and being build by Sand Castle Homes Inc. It represents
one of five architectural styles allowed in Hemingway Place, such
as Victorian, Old Florida, French/American Colonial, Italianate and
Low Country.
There are four preferred homebuilders for the community. Lot prices
range from $240,000 to $270,000. The average lot size is approximately
85 by 140 feet. Prices for homes, including home-site, are anticipated
to begin at $675,000.
The 10-acre community will have two cypress preserve areas, sidewalks,
secured-gated access, a small park and gazebo. The community’s
main entrance will be one block west of Goodlette-Frank Road at the
intersection of Cypress Woods Boulevard and 14 th Street North.
Basik development is the developer of Hemingway Place. Home sites
are purchased through the developer. Hemingway Place is located on
Goodlette-Frank Road North, approximately ½ mile south of
Pine Ridge Road.
